The hydraulic wrench can control the pre-tightening force of the bolts more accurately and reliably. The output torque is large, it is easy to use, and can be used in a narrow space. This is suitable for some large-scale infrastructure and large-scale electromechanical equipment that use a large number of high-strength bolts, especially It is particularly important for heavy machinery and equipment that bear loads and strong shocks and vibrations and industries that need to ensure the sealing of pipelines and containers.
Bolt force control is one of the main factors to ensure flange sealing, because flange sealing is achieved by tightening bolts and compressing gaskets. When pre-tightening the bolts, the gasket is compressed by the flange to produce elastic or plastic deformation of the gasket, so as to fill up the slight unevenness on the flange surface to achieve sealing. During operation, the gasket can retain a relatively large sealing specific pressure and maintain a good sealing state. The bolt pre-tightening force must act evenly and symmetrically on the gasket. If the pre-tightening force is too small, the gasket cannot stop leakage without being compressed, but too large pre-tightening force will often cause excessive compression and deformation of the gasket. The gasket loses its resilience or even breaks.
Using a hydraulic wrench can make the bolt pre-tightening force act evenly and symmetrically on the gasket, so as to achieve a balanced and effective bolt load and complete the correct installation of the flange. Through the bolt tightening scheme, the bolt tightening operation is not only simpler, more efficient, but also safer and more accurate, which greatly reduces the labor intensity of workers and reduces the risk of flange seal leakage. It is necessary to pay special attention to the severe temperature fluctuations, which will seriously affect the sealing performance of the flange. At high temperatures, the dissolution and corrosion effects of the medium on the gasket intensify, which increases the possibility of leakage. Flanges, bolts, and gaskets may cause creep and stress relaxation, which will reduce the specific pressure of the seal. If the temperature and pressure fluctuate At this time, the gasket will fatigue and the seal will fail. For seals used at low temperatures, due to the different cooling rates of flanges and bolts, the gasket pre-tightening force will be unevenly reduced. In addition, the shrinkage and elasticity of the gasket at low temperatures will accelerate the occurrence of leakage.
