The impact pneumatic wrench (psingair flapbolt) is a mechanical device that uses compressed air as the power source to generate high-speed airflow in the cylinder to transmit torque. It has the characteristics of simple structure, light weight and convenient carrying, and is widely used in automobile repair and maintenance industries. Pneumatic wrenches can be divided into two categories according to their uses:
The first category is used by auto repairmen for disassembling and assembling engine cylinder block and other parts; The other is used for industrial installation of some special parts or equipment.
1、 Pneumatic advantages
1. Effortless operation Because the pneumatic tools use high-pressure air as the power source, the working pressure is far lower than the working pressure of the hydraulic system, so the fatigue strength will not be increased due to the high pressure when working, and the labor intensity can be reduced.
2. Safety of use It can also be used in the situation with flammable and explosive gases.
3. It is widely applicable to many difficult operations that cannot be completed by pneumatic tools.
4. It is easy to realize automation. For example, the lifting and lowering actions of the pneumatic jack can be completed automatically.
2、 Pneumatic disadvantages
1. It cannot bear large external force. When it is necessary to apply large force (such as disassembling cylinder head), hydraulic transmission must be used to achieve the purpose.
2. Difficult maintenance. Pneumatic tools are generally supplied with air by oil pumps and driven by oil pressure to complete various actions. Due to the absence of internal lubrication and cooling mechanisms and the lack of necessary protective measures, the service life of pneumatic tools is much shorter than other types of hand tools.
3、 The classification of pneumatic wrenches can be divided into three categories according to their uses:
1) The universal impact pneumatic wrench is used in the automobile maintenance industry and some non-metallic processing fields.
2) The special impact pneumatic wrench is mainly used in the automobile repair industry.
3) Explosion proof impact pneumatic wrench is applicable to underground coal mine.
