Pneumatic torque wrench is a torque wrench with high-pressure air pump as the power source. A torque multiplier with three or more epicyclic gears is driven by one or two powerful pneumatic motors. The torque is controlled by adjusting the gas pressure. In order to allow specific torque demand settings, each tool is equipped with a special comparison chart and correction report for the torque of the air pressure. For further application, the pneumatic torque wrench can be equipped with a torque sensor to make the output torque more accurate. After obtaining the required torque, the air supply can be shut down manually or automatically using a suitable loop system.
The pneumatic torque wrench is a hand-held rotary pneumatic tool, which can accurately set the torque and is used to complete the locking or removal of nuts and bolts; The control part is realized by voltage regulator and power management system, and the mechanical part adopts planetary gear reducer
The operation of the pneumatic torque wrench is quiet - less than 85dB (A), absolutely without impact, reducing the damage to tools, sleeves and locked objects. These two factors can make the users of tools operate comfortably, reduce fatigue, and improve safety. The maximum torque can reach 300,000N. m.
The pneumatic torque wrench provides accurate torque control - the repeatability is ± 5%, equipped with sensor+solenoid valve switch, and the repeatability can reach ± 2%. Pneumatic torque wrenches are widely used in aerospace, mining, petrochemical, railway, construction, heavy vehicle assembly and maintenance, heavy equipment loading and unloading and many other fields, especially in product production and assembly lines, especially where large torque is required.
