  Precautions for the use of high pressure reciprocating pumps

  (1) If the pipeline is prone to blockage, a safety valve should be installed to ensure that the high-pressure reciprocating pump can be used safely and can work normally.

  (2) The steam should be checked to see if it is smooth and whether the medium is frozen. If there is, then the high-pressure reciprocating pump cannot be started to avoid damage to the pump. In addition, before starting the high-pressure reciprocating pump, the inlet and outlet valves should be opened first.

  Precautions for the operation of the three-piston high-pressure reciprocating pump

  (1) If there is no liquid in the pump, it is impossible to start this kind of high-pressure reciprocating pump, because it will cause damage to the pump and make it unable to use normally. If the valve on the line and the bypass valve are closed, then the pump cannot be started.

  (2) When the three-plunger high-pressure reciprocating pump is used for the first time, or has been overhauled, it is necessary to carry out no-load test run first. If there is no problem, then load test run can be carried out to check whether it is normal. If there is any abnormality, it should be dealt with in time. Therefore, in its total commissioning time, it cannot be less than 4 hours.
