Generally, the newly purchased chain saw will have the original guide bar, you can choose the guide bar model needed in the future according to the original guide bar
The most important thing is to choose the correct the length, groove width and tail model of guide bar and the pitch of saw chain.
The slot width of the guide bar is generally divided into 0.043 inches, 0.050 inches, 0.058 inches and 0.063 inches. Among them, 0.043 inches are generally equipped with smaller chain saws. Chain saws with groove widths of 0.050 inches and 0.058 inches are more common.
The second is the tail model.The chain saws produced by each chain saw manufacturer are different.The model of the tail determines whether the guide can be assembled with the chain saw correctly. The model of the tail of the guide used can be determined by measuring the diameter of the fastening bolt and adjusting the position of the bolt.
