The Differences Between the Characteristics of Axial Fans and Centrifugal Fans

The centrifugal fans are based on the principle of converting kinetic energy into potential energy, using a high-speed rotating impeller to accelerate the gas, then decelerate, change the flow direction, and convert kinetic energy into potential energy.
First of all,axial fans and centrifugal fans have different principles of wind pressure. Axial fans rely on the rotation of blades to drive gas to move in the axial direction.The centrifugal fans rely on the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the impeller to transport gas.
Second,the rotors of the axial fans are generally exposed and have a large volume.The rotors of the centrifugal fans are installed in closed and small volume.
Third,the air pressure generated by the axial fans is very low, but the air volume is large.The centrifugal fans can generate higher air pressure, but the air volume is generally not large.wall mounted home energy storage system
