The Working Principle of the Magnetic Drill

After the magnetic drill is energized, the changing current at the bottom of the magnetic drill generates a magnetic field, which is adsorbed on the steel structure, and then the motor of the magnetic drill runs at a high speed to drive the drill bit to drill the steel structure.
After energization, the magnetic drill generates a magnetic attraction force of thousands of kilograms perpendicular to the bottom surface of the magnetic base through electromagnetic effects, so that it is adsorbed firmly on the processing surface of the steel plate or structural parts, and plays a role of fixing the machine.The stronger the magnetic attraction, the more stable the body of the magnetic base drill when working, and the higher the drilling accuracy.
Turn on the start switch of the motor, the rotor in the motor of the machine rotates at a high speed, and the drive shaft is rotated by the transmission gear set, which drives the drill bit to rotate, and the drill bit is used to cut and drill the part that needs to be drilled.
Compared with flame cutting holes, the holes drilled by the magnetic drill have high precision, which belongs to physical cutting, and will not produce chemical reactions and will not deform the material.
At present, in addition to traditional twist drills, magnetic drills also have hollow drills specially used for magnetic drills.It uses the principle of a milling cutter and has the effects of high efficiency and good accuracy.
