1. First, determine the type of sawtooth of the band saw blade, simply measure the curve size of the sawtooth shape according to the type of sawtooth, and then buy a small grinding head that is suitable for the sawtooth shape curve, put the small grinding head on the sawtooth of the band saw, and observe Whether the diameter of the grinding head conforms to the serration shape curve and whether the rake angle of the serration can be ground. It should also be noted that the diameter of the grinding head is usually between 3mm and 6mm, and the shape of the grinding head can be cylindrical or brush head shape. , And choose a higher hardness.
2. Clamp the saw tooth of the blunt band saw blade up and horizontally on the jig, then check the saw road condition to see if it needs to be sawed road correction. If saw road correction is needed, use saw road pliers to make corresponding corrections. After gear shifting, saw road condition inspection and correction, then sharpening.
3. You can also install a suitable small grinding head on an adjustable electric hand drill or small electric grinder. Adjust the speed of the electric hand drill to a high speed (that is, a speed of several thousand revolutions), and adjust the small electric grinder to 3000 or 4000 revolutions, and then place the grinding head on the curve of the root of the saw tooth, and lean against the front corner of the saw tooth. Tighten it, and move the grinding head back and forth slightly several times, it will naturally be able to grind out very sharp serrations.
