Classification of Band Saw According to Process Requirements

Band saws can be divided into log band saws and split band saws according to technological requirements.
The log band saw machine is the main saw of the band saw mill. It is used for log cutting and cutting board and square timber. It usually uses a sports car band saw or a double log band saw.
Generally, a single-sided saw tooth saw on a sports car loaded with logs is used for intermittent sawing, while a double-sided saw tooth saw reciprocating sawing, which can increase work efficiency by 30%. The transmission of a sports car mainly includes a friction wheel rope reel,a silicon controlled rectifier DC motor,a hydraulic motor and other continuously variable transmission methods. The double band saw adopts continuous feeding mechanisms such as chain conveyors and cam arms.
The split band saw is divided into the main band saw machine that splits the wool into square materials and the panel belt saw that splits the skin into thin plates.
